MID Communications is the largest independent franchise of O2 (Telefónica UK Limited) in the Northwest, selling O2 products and services under the O2 brand and in line with O2’s instructions. We are a fun, energetic and most importantly a professional company operating locally within several communities across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and the Fylde coast. We take pride in our work, we approach each day with passion and persist to achieve and drive results and with all this, we aim to achieve pure greatness.
From our first store in Cleveleys, we have continued to grow to the place we are today, working with 16 retail stores and our Head Office and Contact Centre based in Rochdale. We started as a family business and have strived to embed this value into each community in which we are fortunate enough to reside and trade within.

MID Communications feels proud of the local communities in which we are located; from our Head Office in Middleton to each of the areas surrounding our fantastic stores, MID communications is committed to supporting the growth and development of our communities across the North West for the benefit of local people. We are proud of our roots, with strong connections within the Cleveleys area where we still operate our first store. We also give support to community groups, charities and organisations throughout Greater Manchester where our business is now based. We support a number of charities, in particular - ‘Forever Manchester’ and ‘Key 103’s Cash4Kids’. With the specific reason, that each is a grant funding organisation putting money straight back into the local community areas where our colleagues work and live. We are also excited to work with Autism Adventures in 2018, focusing on making our retail space more assessible to all without exception.
We are also proud of our focus on making our business more environmentally sustainable, ensuring we are leaving a thriving and growing business for generations to come. We are constantly looking for better and more innovative ways to lessen our carbon footprint on the world, preferring to make our mark through our great service to our customers instead.

MID Communications has always taken it’s responsibility to the environment seriously but for 2018 we really wanted to raise the bar for what we believed was possible. To that end, we’ve enrolled in the Investors in the Environment, a national environmental accreditation scheme. It is designed to help organisations save time and money, reduce their impact on the environment and get promoted for their green credentials which align perfectly with our stated goal to create a safe and happy environment that inspires others to get involved and make a real difference.
